I've been down this trail a few times. This hike was a last minute, rewarding choice. Fossil Creek is such a beautiful and lush area! No wonder it seems to be increasing in activity each time I've revisited the area. Several people were headed out as we headed in, so the creek itself was not too busy. This trip provides some decent work for the quads as well as a beautiful destination. All in all a lovely trip!

I would like to share one thought ... young children will certainly enjoy romping in the water and can get tired little legs while playing. This could lead to a difficult climb out and the need for extra patience from loving parents. Please consider the climb out before deciding whether this is the right hike for inexperienced children.
