| no partners | | | We were actually planning to hike Mt. Peeley, but we got turned around a couple miles short of the trailhead by a bunch of armed and camoflauged guys with badges. Found out on the news later that they had found a marijuana farm up in the mountains. They shot one suspect and two others had escaped into the wilds. First time I had to abort a hike due to manhunt. Anyways, since the Maztazals were filled with dogs and guns, and it was getting late this was where we ended up. It was a good hike, if a little warm. Not what we planned on, but much better than getting shot at or arrested. |
