Looking at the satellite image of the area, I decided to start at a different location. I should have looked at the topography map instead. I didn't realize the road I was taking went straight up the hill. I drove up about 20% of the hill, then parked. I started hiking from there. Very nice area. The dogs and I, hiked to all the key areas. On the way back I saw an animal trail going around the mountain. I figured I would take this to see where it goes. It took me back around, close to the trailhead. Score!! I then hiked up the trail, then back down to my truck.

50mph winds all day!! Gusts up to 60...
