| no partners | | Out Arivaca way Sunday. Started the day with a short hike near town. I have spotted Painted Redstarts here on past visits, but not this time. The summer rains are just beginning, so I expect there will be a lot more water here in the near future. Everything still very dry right now. However, there have been some downpours in the past few days, as evidenced by the debris on the highway at wash crossings coming in from Amado. May it continue!  |
