With Lynn. Our first visit to Petrified Forest NM. Once again that National Parks Annual Pass came in handy. We did all the "tourist" mini-hikes, but the backcountry wilderness beckons for some future hiking adventures!

Did the Rim Trail and Onyx Bridge Trail down to Lithodendron Wash and the Black Forest area. Spectacular Painted Desert scenery! We didn't make it to the bridge proper due to mega-mudding (check out the shoe-shot) and declining day light...
