| no partners | | I finally made my way out to Big Basin Redwoods State Park (the oldest SP in California) and was treated to some fine trail running with the payoff being Berry Creek Falls. The park was rather busy on a Saturday morning, once I made it a mile down the trail I had it almost all to myself. I started at the park headquarters and followed the Skyline to the Sea trail for an out-and-back ten miler, with a quick stop at the falls.
I wanted to take Jim Lyding's recommendation and hit the North loop, that was the plan until I turned my ankle on a root and pretty much called it quits once I returned to the car. |
