I am off today. So I went hiking after dropping my daughter off at school. I saw a huge rainbow over cave creek as I drove in. But it had disappeared by the time I got to the TH. As I started to hike, saw lots of low hanging clouds hugging the mountains. Felt like I was in HI.
Initially there are lots of birds chirping away and gathering nesting material . Saw a family of Quails by the wash south of Cone mtn. I am now taking pictures of wildlife thanks to many inspiring people on this site including Outdoor Lover and Gummo.
Once the Sun came up, the butterfly show got started. They are everywhere. Feels like I am walking in a butterfly pavilion . If I stop walking, then if hear the bees as well. My first time hiking in Fall season but the sonoran desert is filled with wildlife. I am very grateful for MSP. :thanx:
