I managed to hike Squaw Peak for the 2nd day in a row. There were a lot more people on the mountain when I did this on Christmas than the day before. Lots of families and Kippahs.. There were a couple of what looked to be large blankets spread out on the northwest portion of the summit. No idea. The sky was bizarrely clean like it was on Christmas Eve so perhaps people are actually heeding the no burn day restriction. It was cool, windy and cloudy when I started, but nice and sunny when I was halfway down.
I ran into Joe for the 2nd day in a row when I was just starting while he was finishing.
