| no partners | | | This hike reminded me just how out of shape I am. I'd like to do this as a hike all the way up to East Peak of Mount Tamalpais this fall. I saw only my second Pacific rattlesnake deep in the forest near Cataract Falls, and it wasn't friendly. Only saw a few exhausted-looking hikers going up the Kent Trail and no one on Helen Markt. There was a tree down across Markt, but I crawled through it without too much difficulty. I'll be back here soon. |
