| partners | | on the way back from the sierras, john suggested we drive through Joshua tree national park
I had never been there, we could do a little hike, and denny had a park pass so that sounded pretty good
beautiful mix of Joshua trees, boulders and blue sky
stopped first at the barker dam area and did the loop
highlights were the dam and sighting several bighorn sheep
next drove over to hidden valley and hiked that loop
some rock climbing in this area, too
drove all the way through the park to I-10
some areas are prettier than others
would love to spend several days here camping, hiking and climbing
a nice way to break up the drive home |
