| no partners | | I've been fighting a cold for a few days, and after listening to my wheezing lungs after a few miles of climbing in knee-deep snow off trail yesterday, I voted for a flat trail snowshoe today. This was perfect. The 4+ inches of new snow overnight were complimented by light to moderate snowfall during the entire trip.
A pair of skiers had been out in the morning and after the three of us had been through on snowshoes, the track was packed down to near perfection. I might head out again tomorrow and do a larger loop up the hill more. This is a neat area and very close to town.
WP opened a bunch of new trail this morning so that's an option tomorrow too. But I'd almost rather just doodle around in the woods on snowshoes.
