The Pyramid Creek is made up of fresh snow-ice melt and flows into the South Branch of the American River along Hwy 50 at Twin Bridges, Ca. The heavy snow fall etches the Granite rock in an ever changing way-even cairns don't last very long here, so they mark the general trail with small triangle signs on trees.
