Crazy day on the Peaks!

Had to turn around about a half mile from the summit.

Huge storm cell w/ heavy rain & hail. It's no wonder I wasn't hit by lighting! :doh:

(I guess it's not my time to go!)

Didn't see a soul the whole day which is oddly common for this route(don't know why??)

Thanks to Joe for making this an actual hike selection on HAZ. (and a great write up btw!)
Hiking to the summit via the Inner Basin/Weatherford trails has a whole different feel to it then starting from Snow Bowl parking lot. I know Lockett Meadow isn't as convenient and easy to get to but if you have the extra time, try this way up sometime...it's a Five Star!
