| partners | | This is such a nice hike. The Bickford Brook trail is all in the trees, which I LOVE!!! And I love the sound of a brook almost the whole time toward the bottom. Then the top offers pretty limited views, but still nice. The way down on the Blueberry Ridge trail is the money - so many pretty views, as with a lot of hikes in the Whites. We only say about 2 people the entire day. Most people in the Whites are peak baggers and only will do hikes to get their 48 four thousand footers badges. I am not typically a list ticker, so I go for the less crowded or super pretty and awesome ones. I would rather repeat a hike that I absolutely loved than tick off a peak with no view just to say I did it. |
