| no partners | | | I've lived in Tucson for 15 years and didn't find out about this cave until last year. I finally went in October and loved it. It is critical to bring plenty of headlamps, glowsticks, water, and I wouldn't recommend exploring this cave alone. It is recommended to bring kneepads for crawling through a few tight places and gloves as there can be some sharp edges in places. There were also some muddy areas when I went. There are plenty of markers, and colored arrows on the rocks which can be used for navigation. We spent about 2 hours in this cave and it was difficult to know how much of it we actually explored relative to what was on the map. I'll probably go back again soon! |
