| no partners | | My Dad took me out on this little hike that features some Anasazi farming sites and petroglyphs.
The hike is easy going up a small ridge that feels more like a mesa. It's about 3/4th a mile to the farming sites, and just a little bit further to the petroglyphs.
Couldn't really make out what I was looking at around the farming sites, even with the interpretive signs. Mostly just some rocks that create a vague outline of some gardens.
The petroglphys were very cool though. There are a lot of them scattered around the area. You could spent a couple hours here hopping rocks and climbing around looking for petroglphys.
Enjoyed a little snow storm that rolled in, but nothing stuck. |
