Day 2 of a weekend Kofa trip with Kyle and Chumley.

The views along this loop were fantastic. In particular, I loved the views looking back down Tunnel Spring Canyon as you climb to the top of the canyon, and the HUGE rockwalls along Towhee Canyon. Tunnel Spring gave me a small case of the shakes on the way down (it's really not that bad), but it was well worth the detour.

I could hang out in there for a while on a hot day.

I was slightly disappointed towards the end of the hike when we hadn't seen any Bighorn Sheep. Fortunately we spotted 6 of them working their way up to the ridgeline just as we started making our way out of Towhee Canyon.

Big thanks to Chumley for putting this trip together, it was a very enjoyable first look into Kofa!
