Met up with Addie at the side entrance.
Wanted to check up on the great horned mama owl and see if there were chicks yet.
Arrived at the nest and saw one wide eyed baby owl (and mama) looking down on us.
As a bonus, the male owl was also spotted higher up the cottonwood tree!
We then looped the southern portion of the park and exited for a bit for a side trip out to Clay Knoll and along Graveyard Wash, then to an old prehistoric artifact spread & then up the mesa to re-enter and exit the park.
