Took the short walk down to Toketee Falls. The trail has great scenery along the river, and the FS has put some serious effort into building stairs and elevated decking in the more challenging parts. I was a little disappointed the stairs didn't go all the way to the bottom. Why bother building stairs if they're gonna stop halfway down? :-k

The 12-foot diameter wood "flume" pipe at the trailhead is an engineering marvel. Oh, sure, it might leak a little bit, but it's made of wood! And it's nearly 60 years old!
