| no partners | | I had myself an escape from work today. I had been watching the USGS River Data site and was led to believe that Grand Falls would be pumping huge today. Well, it wasn't! It was going pretty well, but when we got out of the car we didn't exactly have that Arizona Highways moment!
The directions on one of the triplogs, to take IR 6910, were very good. We never got lost.
We didn't stay long--it was cold and windy, and my husband, who I had dragged out of bed and through the snow in order to get there, was ready to go pretty quick. It was odd, in fact, how much snow was everywhere except at Leupp and Winslow. It was fairly dry on the ground and on the roads leading to the falls.
I'll post photos, too. |
