| no partners | | Another hike from our recent trip to Greece:
We spent a few days in the community of Meteora. The hostel we stayed at was run by a family that lived in the area for several generations. One of the family members took us on a hiking tour one morning. The posted photos are a combination of the morning hike and a return in the evening.
There are many trails in this area. Most of them are historic shepherd paths that have been repurposed for tourists hiking to the monasteries of Meteora. This is a special place that I had been looking forward to visiting for several years. It's well worth the long drive from Athens. |
