| no partners | | I was lucky enough to make two trips out to Oregon this summer to visit friends and family. On the first trip in late June-early July, I visited Upper Downing Creek Falls.
This is a really fun hike! Not only is it a quick stop at an amazing, secluded waterfall, but the road to the "trailhead" is a fun challenge on its own.
I only saw two other people on a beautiful Sunday in early July, probably due to the fact that the upper falls is only accessible by driving to the end of an overgrown logging road that has been decommissioned for 15 years. I found this on an old topo map and I'm glad I finally had the chance to visit! |
