This was our best hike so far. We took this trip in the perfect season. The creeks were running everywhere. We left early Saturday morning and took our time getting there, stoppin at the creeks for snacks and to enjoy the scenery. Didnt come across to many other hikers on our way in. This was our son's birthday trip and about a mile away from Drippin Springs he was tired and sayin it wasnt worth it. haha. Once we got there and he saw the windmill and how green it was with the creek runnin right next to camp he yelled "This was so worth it!" And it was. It was a beatiful area to set up camp. Once we got set up, we walked a little further on the trail to find the biggest Saguaro cactus I have ever seen and then a massive flowing creek. I thought it was an incredible hike. I think the hardest part for all of us was the last hill up as we neared the parking lot on the way back. But, in season, this is a beautiful hike with PLENTY of water.
