Sunday afternoon hike with Skippy through the western end of South Mountain. Poppies are making a yellow carpet in many sections. Didn't notice any lupine blooms though.

Parked at the San Juan road closure and hopped onto the Bajada Trail, following it until it rejoins San Juan Road 2 1/4 miles later. Followed San Juan Road back to the truck checking out the multiple yellow wildflowers along the way...
