| no partners | | We arrived at the trailhead that was off forest road 139a to Pinchot cabin. It was about 10 am in the morning when we started to hike. It was cloudy and at one point it looked like it was going to snow. It was around 40 degrees. It could have been colder. There was no one on the trail except my dad and I and it was a very quiet hike through the forest. We found the Aspen spring cabin just fine and I stayed around there for 10 to 15mins. We found kept finding remains of some animal around one area. We are assuming it is one animal since they were all in the same vicinity. We did find a piece of a jaw that we believe belongs to a bear but we could be wrong. We did hike up the trail pass aspen springs a couple of miles before heading back to the car. |
