For the most part, the road was in good condition, although there were several patches of snow and several extremely rutted and washed out areas that required a cautious approach. I took my time and made several scenic detours along the way- including a quick stop to do some fishing at Badger Lake, hiking into Jean Lake, and visiting Lookout Mountain at the eastern terminus of the trail. Outside of Badger Lake, I didn't see a single person all day (which I am thankful for, since passing people on this road would not be much fun).
