| no partners | | Day 2, in Silverton, starts off with an unplanned hike. I was driving into Silverton and noticed the sign for Christ of the Mines Shrine. The hike itself is about 1/8 of a mile round-trip. At the shrine, I noticed another trail heading up the mountain. We followed that trail to an old mine. Along the way, 2 deer where very interested in my pup. They where watching Miss Ellie, more than they where watching me. This short hike has great views of Silverton.
