| no partners | | | I invited a couple friends to the Harquahala Mountains to watch the Perseid Meteor shower. A few miles from the top, we passed Peter_Medal hiking along the road. After reaching the top, my friends quickly passed out. We work the graveyard shift, so they had been up for 24+hours. I hung out with Peter and company for a couple hours. We where a day or two early for the best viewing of the Meteor shower, so they where few and far between. I think most of us enjoyed the lightning show over Buckeye, more than the meteor shower. Shortly after falling asleep, the campsite got hit with storm that we had been watching. Im glad I was sleeping in my truck. |
