Our next unplanned stop was at Cinnamon Pass. We hiked around to an old mine and some old buildings. I noticed a trail that headed up to a 13,000ft saddle. We started up the trail, when I noticed Miss Ellie was bleeding from her paw. She had broken one of her nails(probably from chasing marmots.) We hiked back down to the truck so I can take care of the wound.
