| no partners | | | This was the hike we had been looking forward to since we made a our plans to visit Canada over a year ago. Unfortunately the smoke was just so bad that this hike will be remembered for smoke and crowds. It should be a lovely hike around Lake Louise and up into the glacial valley behind the lake with stunning views of the lake, surrounding mountains and glaciers. You can't control the weather or forest fires but it was disappointing nonetheless. Hiking in elevation and smoke wasn't the greatest either but we didn't come all the way to sit around the hotel and do nothing so hike it we did. |
