| no partners | | | This hike near Jasper, Alberta starts at Maligne Lake. The good news was that the rain cleared out most of the smoke. The bad news is that the rain and clouds hampered the views. The hike along the "bald hills" (or ridgeline) can be extended another 4 or so miles if you so choose. Had the weather been nicer we'd definitely would have continued farther along the ridge for even more views. We did the Moose Lake Loop on our return but unfortunately we saw no moose, despite the rainy/overcast conditions that would seem to be great for moose viewing. |
