On Thanks giving I took everyone out for a short walk up to Springer Mountain Lookout. This is a short walk up to the look out from Forest Service Road 187 at Trail Head #1 for the Blue Ridge Trail. The Lookout was locked so we couldn’t go up but did have some limited views over Pinetop and to the northeast from the top of Springer Mountain.
