Was is Flagstaff with a large group and we decided to squeeze a hike in to our schedule. The sounds of a gurgling creek were welcome to our desert ears. I was surprised to see hardly any wildflowers though after seeing plenty along the roads in the high desert on the drive up. One good surprise though was patches of snow.
