| partners | | Another outing on the AZT.This is a bypass route but enjoyable none the less.We start off dropping into Walnut canyon which is very nice then into Flag and over to Buffalo park. The park is kinda cool.We ate lunch there and headed out the other side towards schultz Pass.Joe went back to get the key we forgot.I vote JOE for nicest hazer for the month of June! This part of the trail reminded me of Kachina with all the boulders in the pines. There was even a little water in Shultz Creek. For going through Flag the passage is still a nice one.We saw a young Elk(scared me) and a few cow Elks.A few ducks and hikers and lots of bike racers on the north side of Flag. Thanks for driving Bruce and Dave.Joe,we OWE you! Thanks to all and see you on the next one!! |
