| no partners | | | Hiked up to Wygant Peak and back. Had the trail completely to myself. Temps in the 50s, light to moderate rain off and on for the first half of the hike, then the rain ended and the sun started to peak out. There are some nice views along the way to the top, but the peak itself is just a forested summit. Considered trying to follow the abandoned Chetwoot Trail to form a loop, but I turned back after a couple hundred feet because it just didn't look like much fun to climb over downed trees and push through bushes. |
