| no partners | | Went back to where I hiked last week and started another section of the RCT. There wasn't a whole lot of elevation gain at first and not too steep, but that started to change the last mile and a half on the way in. One section went thru a neighborhood, but that was because it goes past the Rachel Carson homestead. Another section of about a half mile was on pavement.
Saw another deer and it stayed still for a picture, but I forgot my camera in the car, so I got what I could with my phone.
The humidity wasn't too bad today. Skies were mildly overcast, making the temperatures not too hot.
Turned around where the trail crosses some more paved roads. Looks like some possible parking spaces for another section to try another day. |
