A friend(Lance) of mind suggested this hike so I thought I would give it a try.Tom,Rhonda,Lance, and I started out about 6:45. The trail is pretty well defined. It follows along the Little Colorado for a couple miles then heads up the mountains and onto Mexican Hay Lake. We were in shade about 80% of the time with the trees and the clouds. There is one steep section about half way that might be tricky if it rained.Took a lunch at Mexican Hay Lake then hiked back to the South Fork Campground were we started.Finished about 1:45.We didn't see any other hikers all day. Thanks to Lance for driving.Great hike,Great friends, and Great weather.
