| no partners | | I went with my wife to Pine Top-Lakeside. She was meeting some friends/coworkers at a cabin up there. I was on my own for this hike which I decided to try after reading Belladonna Took's triplog. I started around 11:00 A.M. and finished shortly after 1:30 P.M. I took my time as I wanted to record a gps track log with a receiver just recently purchased. Thanks gpsJoe for your advice on how to best do this.
The hike was beautiful, easy and relaxing although surprisingly warm considering the elevation. The distance on the trail guide says 6 miles but it's really closer to 8.
