| no partners | | I'm not sure if I should post this, as it isn't a hike, but rather the product of 10 hikes over the past 5 years. And I'm sure at least several of you have already driven the new freeway around South Mountain. (Now formally known as the Ed Pastor Freeway.) But I hope some of you might be interested in what the west end of South Mountain Park looks like now, compared to how it looked before freeway construction? 
The conceit being I compare the EXACT SAME location on the freeway to that which used to be dirt, pointing the same direction. Yeah, I planned that five years out.
