A nice quiet day roaming the expansive rim of Calf Pen Canyon along with a little dabbling of going down in and skirting pockets and drainages of the main stem.
Came across a big herd of Mule Deer, few old lion kills and plenty of signs of other mammals throughout.
Little snowpack and plenty of mud at the 6700’ level but once past or below that the spring ground is showing and I’m sure soon to be laced with greenery.
