I’m not really sure why this seemed like a good idea today but I just love Picacho Peak. I started hiking right about high noon. Temperature was already over 100°. At one point I saw it go as high as 106 on my watch. I didn’t have any problems up or down other than having to take a short phone call. It was definitely toasty however the bonus was I had the entire peak and range to myself.
