When I arrived a little after 8AM the upper parking lot was full and there was only one spot left on the lower lot. Weather was near perfect with temps in the mid 70's the whole way up. Passed many people and everyone did the step aside thing the best we could for the COVID distancing.

Up top I was pleasantly surprised that there weren't a bunch of bugs. The strange thing is that the metal sign about the old fire lookout is gone. Anyway I normally try and reach the top via the Super trail in 2 hours and 30 minutes or less. That didn't happen today. Came in at 2:34. :( I am sure a couple minutes were lost due to stopping here and there to step aside, but more likely I am just losing my mojo. I will be 53 on Sunday so that doesn't help. :sweat:

Saw three white tail deer as I started down Old Baldy. Otherwise just a nice hike with no real issues. I have missed my old friend Mount Wrightson. I am sure I will be back a few more times this year.
