| no partners | | A couple big epic treks down into the belly of the beast of this mighty Central Arizona wilderness.
Well earned, rough explorative miles finding everything from antlers to arrowheads with scenic views the entire time.
It’s easy to get fixated and focused on the water in this mighty canyon but there are just as many worthy gems to be discovered all around it’s perimeter.
Pretty toasty weather even in April to be trudging around brushy steep canyon slopes that would be truly inhospitable during the peak summer months.
Always great to feel flat ground after climbing out of a canyon of this magnitude, especially after going up, down and gridding all around inside of it. |
