| partners | | My brothers, Roy and Gary planned a family PCT backpacking trip. It sounded fun so I asked if I could tag-along, which they graciously said yes. When the planned date arrived, Roy's declining health made him back out including his children (found out 2 weeks later it was cancer!) and only Gary, his son Spencer and I were able to go. The first two miles were with Roy and his son Iain.
I only got pictures of the first day of the hike with my phone because I ran out of storage. (stupid me!) Luckily the other two days were with Gary's phone - forever prepared!
I might have been annoying, or the comic relief, but the three day hike was more than memorable! I cherished the trip, from the stunning views of mountain ranges, marveling at the breathtaking scenery, defeating the challenging trails, and loved spending time with my family. |
