| no partners | | A call went out to the volunteer stewards of the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy for individuals to pick up game cameras in the field. I’m always looking for opportunities to go off trail in the Preserve. 7 of us met on 128th Street (dirt road South of Rio Verde....runs into Tom Thumb TH) and Redbird. Split into 2 groups and were led by other Stewards who know the camera locations. This camera project has ended. One of the chips was reviewed and the Lead sent us one of the pics. I’ll post.
This set of cameras were in the central area of the Preserve, referred to as the Gooseneck. It’s an important area as it allows game to travel from the Southern part of the Preserve all the way North to Tonto National Forest. |
