| no partners | | | #6 of 50 hikes. Green Pond Trail is located by Snowbasin Ski Resort near Huntsville, Utah. It was a nice, easy hike. Beautiful sunny weather, but breezier than I'd like. Brrrrr. Had to keep the parka on. The trail was a little confusing because there were so many other worn trails made by other hikers, bikers, snowshoes, and even skiers. I had to ask for directions once, by the only two hikers I saw that day. Coming back I made a wrong turn, but figured it out within a couple of minutes, so it wasn't too awful. The "end" of the trail was a road near a ski lodge with amazing views of the surrounding mountain ranges in all directions. |
