| no partners | | Revisit an old favorite but this time spend some time exploring surrounding areas. Went in at Rock Springs Creek and set up a base camp in the canyon, then spent time taking pics and hiking to some slots off the main canyon. Saw no one for 3 days but saw evidence of fresh ATV tracks. It was dry at the last part of Rock Springs and part of Upper Paria then the water came out of the sandstone contact to provide a nice little stream.
Lots of flowers, and with the remarkable sandstone textures and colors, made for a wonderful time. Mileage is definitely an estimate, could be more, or less. |
