i had done this hike with my mom on a previous visit many years ago
popular for a reason - it's beautiful
we couldn't get to the bear lake corridor trails until 1300
sue had to get the entry ticket, since i could only get one pass per day
we ended up taking the shuttle, which was fine
more elevation gain than i remembered
nymph lake, dream lake, emerald lake and the loop around bear lake
good weather, cool temps late afternoon
several elk around dream lake, including a big buck
a little too close for comfort with a lot of people taking photos
fun hike if you don't mind the crowds
