| no partners | | | Finally had sun in the forecast, so hiked up to Buckhorn Pass. My day started mostly sunny with clouds teasing the peaks - such pretty conditions. I spent some time at the pass watching the clouds move in, then left when I was socked in. Snow patches start in the trees above the lake jct. North slopes above the treeline are still quite snowy. Flowers in the meadow are just starting. No rhodies yet. The dirt road is much nicer than it's been in past years. |
