| no partners | | Baker Lake was short, but sweet. A little bit of a workout getting up to the lake, but the trail was well maintained and in great shape. The lake is quite the little gem. Its nestled in a basin with Trapper Peak as a backdrop and it’s very scenic for its size and ease of access. We got an early start to beat the crowds and returned the way we came. My guidebook for the area suggests the lakes gets high use. Baker Lake is also the starting point for a mountaineering route up Trapper Peak. |
